About Us
Derek and Mary started D & M Heavy Haulage 12 years ago after Derek’s family closed down theirlogging operation where Derek was the logging bush manager.
Starting with only one customer and a dream the business has grown substantially and now (over amillion kilometres later) caters to the needs of over 20 regular customers across Tasmania as well asproviding subcontracting services for Tasfreight and Tasmanian Heavy Haulage.
We operate with a 2009 Kenworth T908 truck (purchased new), 2 low-loaders: a tri-axle float for thesmaller excavators (up to 25 tonnes) and a quad-axle float for larger machines (up to 35 tonnes).
D & M Heavy Haulage works 7 days a week, public holidays and at any time to meet the demands ofour customers.
